Leaked Details Reveal Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Coming to PS4, Xbox One with Multiple Editions and Xbox Game Pass Launch

The upcoming launch of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 for both PS4 and Xbox One platforms has been hinted at through a recent leak.

According to leaks that have come to light, Activision is planning to release Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for both current and next-gen consoles. This discovery comes from data mining efforts after the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4, as covered by VGC. These efforts have exposed files that provide hints about the potential platforms for the upcoming major title in the Call of Duty series, including the existence of different versions of the game.

The unearthed information suggests that Black Ops 6 is poised to cater to a wide array of gaming consoles, confirming its availability not just for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S but for PS4 and Xbox One platforms too. The leaks also unveiled that enthusiasts would have the option between a Standard and a Vault edition, with a special “cross-gen bundle” being an alternative purchase as well.

While details are scarce regarding the specifics of what each edition will include, visuals from the leak imply that the Vault edition might offer an array of aesthetic enhancements and benefits over the Standard edition, likely at a higher price point.

Additionally, the leaks suggest an intriguing collaboration between Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Fallout during Season 4. This collaboration, named 'Tracer Pack: Fallout Vault Dweller,' seems to feature characters in the renowned blue and yellow Vault Tech outfit, complete with a Pip-Boy and thematically appropriate arms.

Microsoft has also jumped on the announcement train, launching a captivating live-action teaser and confirming that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will debut on Xbox Game Pass immediately upon its release. The full revelation of the game is scheduled for the Call of Duty Direct event on June 9, following the Xbox Games Showcase, where viewers can anticipate a comprehensive trailer that will hopefully display the game's gameplay, protagonists, storyline, and other elements.
