Recently, Balatro introduced its newest update in the Friends of Jimbo series, which was unveiled on October 24. This update offers an array of complimentary card skins that draw inspiration from four renowned games, including indie classics and recent entries. The first pack in this series highlighted titles like Vampire Survivors and Among Us, showcasing the serious interest from gaming giants such as CD Projekt Red.

Each of the games featured in Part 2 stands as a significant title in the industry. Slay the Spire has secured its place as a leading deckbuilder, while both it and The Binding of Isaac are celebrated as top-tier roguelikes. Alongside Balatro, they define the genre. Additionally, Cyberpunk 2077 has evolved into one of the most impressive RPGs developed by CDPR, a title that has successfully reclaimed its acclaim following a challenging launch. A notable revelation came from Balatro's creator, Localthunk, who shared on social media that Barone personally crafted the card art for Stardew Valley, stating that the result was superb. Barone expressed his gratitude for featuring his game and humorously mentioned the challenge of completing 100% of Stardew Valley now that it's included in Balatro.
